The Columbia Sportswear website says that the XL is equivalent to a 16/18 size. I usually wear a 14/16, and the XL was too big for me. The XL measured about 41" at the waist, and had a long inseam (32"). The pant leg is 22" around, both at the knee and at the bottom, which to me seems unnecessarily wide. Both the waist and the pant bottom can be tightened somewhat with velcro. The pants have zip front pockets and velcro back pockets.6 of 6 people found the following review helpful.
